Appointed to Bradford Royal Infirmary 1986. Whilst offering general ENT services I have sub specialised into Otology and Rhinology. There has been a focus on rehabilitation on children and adults with severe to profound hearing loss.

Research interests have been quiet varied over the years. Currently involved in 3 NIHR funded projects. I have authored over a hundred publications and several book chapters. National managerial work involves advisory role for commissioning of various otological implantable devices.
